Family Dancing

Family dancing is a great way to bring Christians together for a fun and encouraging time of exercise and fellowship.  We are interested in reintroducing families to some wholesome and enriching activities that build unity in families and strengthen the bonds of friendship within the Lord's church.

Circle dances, line dances, jigs and reels are all part of the fun when we get together to kick up our heels.  Many of our dances have included live music, hay rides and other fun activities for kids.  Check out our calendar link to find out about our next dance.

CBFM requests that all events be characterized by modest attire, godly conduct, and attentive parental supervision.

What does the Bible say about dancing?  Check out these scripture passages to gain a little perspective.

2 Samuel 6:14

Ecclesiastes 3:4

Psalm 149:3

Family-Building Seminars

CBFM enjoys organizing seminars to help encourage and equip families.  Since we are advocates of age-integrated worship, we plan our seminars for the whole family.  We are excited about spreading the vision of family restoration and multigenerational faith.

Special Interest Clubs

In addition to the regular, godly influence of parental training, children benefit from the supervised companionship of their peers in areas of common interest.

We encourage Christian families to develop delightful associations with other families where cooperative relationships and companionship can enrich the homeschool experience. Parents who are committed to training up their own children can benefit tremendously from rubbing shoulders with others of like mind and motive.

One of the cooperative relationships we promote is that of Clarion Forensics, the CBFM speech and drama club.  We believe this family-integrated club has special value for older students who will soon be stepping into adult responsibilities, and who need training in Christian apologetics and public speaking.  Check out our Speech Club link for more information.
